Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Un-popped Popcorn
  • 1 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 250°F. Butter two baking dishes.
  • Pop the corn kernels in the air popper or on the stove. Put the popped popcorn into a buttered bowl.
  • In a medium sauce, melt the butter, maple syrup, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and boil without stirring for 5-minutes.
  • Add the baking sode and vanilla into the pot. Stir to combine. The mixture will foam up.
  • Pour the sugar mixture over the popcorn and stir until entirely coated.
  • Divide the coated popcorn between the two buttered dishes and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and enjoy.
